Default removing tires from rims?

Guys;

If your not sure of the type of plastic in the rims, boil them. Polystyrene rims won't survive boiling either, but you won't have the gooey mess like when they Melt in Acetone. Nylon is safe either way.
Beware that some Rubber compounds will shrink SEVERELY if left too long in the Acetone if your trying to save good tires off broken rims. So far Boiling seems to be safe for the Tires.

Personal note:

When doing things to try and save Money. I always pay myself for my time (@$$ hr.) what I would make at work. If it costs more in time than it would to buy it new, guess which way I'm going to go.
