When I get my transponder back from AMB, that will tell the real story. Unlike my onroad cars, I will make a mount in the rear of my truggy under the wing mount. That way it will be flat. Also that means there will not be any close finishes for me!

What type of batteries are in the hand out transponders?

Depends on the age, early ones had Nicd's, newer ones have NiMh.

Thanks Ed,Bob and everybody
Ed, I was reading the manual you gave me, I did not know that system works on a magnetic loop. Now everything makes sense! I was just wondering why the handout and PT did not work ? My truggy chassis must be made of Kryptonite or Lead!

I know my pictures aren't real clear, but you can make out the background noise. I'd like to know what that is. In the manual you can see thats an integral part of trouble shooting. He has to have something in his software to let you know.

Guys thanks alot for the info about the tracks and transponders. Ed, thanks and see you and your partner Ray soon!!
I just got my transponder back from AMB. Those guys are great!! Fast turnaround and I have a "New" transponder. I did have to pay a fee, but not the full amount for a new one! I'm back in business!! New transponder and new motor!!! Now all the laps can count!!!

Thanks guys!
