Default Servos jumping when powered up.

Need to know why every time i hook my battery to my reciever both throttle and steering servos jump continuosly and will not stop til i turn my transmitter on is this normal, and i dont have a switch its straight to the reciever, and i have a novak module for my m8 radio, all help is appreciated.

Yes, because the reciver is looking for a signal from your transmitter. Always turn the Tx on fiirst and the RX off first.

YBSLOW is 100% correct the servos dont no what to do until the recieve the input for the transmitter!
