Default Centax Clutch

Thefuzzclub, don't know where you reside, if in the US or close have a look at Tower Hobbies they have both parts in stock and will have the centax clutch for the RRR mid month part # VZ235 you may need to use engine mounts # VS030 with the later however the notes say part # VS035 is Ok on a V-one R. Good luck and

The Mugen clutch works. You have to get the engine mounts as well since the flywheel is smaller. If you think about it, it's an upgrade since this significantly lowers the engine for a lower CG. You will also have to dremel the flywheel opening for clutchbell clearance. I assure the benefit in handling and grip is well worth the cost.

You cant use the VZ235 unless you change the clutch bell to the V1RR/EVO/FW bell. VZ235 and VS035 use the same flywheel so you will need the lower mounts. Not sure if VS030 will work. I'll look for the number.

I know for certain that the .08 pitch gears are the same and I am pretty sure the .1 pitch gears are as well. If you use a mugen clutch bell you must use mugen pinions. The same goes for Kyosho pinions and clutchbell. They will not drop in without modification so do not mix and match brand pinions and bells.

Racing4Evo - you've been so helpful, please check if i got you right.

mugen clutch bell = mugen pinions = (what spurs?)
kyosho clutch bell - kyosho pinions = (what spurs?)

since you mentioned not to mix brands, i assumed that if i use mugen cb and mugen pinions, i will use mugen spur gears as well. and that goes the same set using the kyosho brand.

YAY, just fixed up my V-one-RR Evo for racing , i put on a failsafe (bad past experiences ) and also a servo saver . now its running perfectly, i just need to set up my mixture at the track and im ready to roll...
how hot is too hot for an OS .12TR? it seems that my engine gets rather hot after about 7 minutes.

For spur gears there are no problems with the kyosho ones. At any rate, I don't think you could use other spur gears.
