I had it on my evo when i assemble my 3R, that's why I know it work :-) FW05R uses same upright and knuckle as Evo/V1R that's how I conclude it will work there too.

The manual said 18~20mm. I know they all can work, but which is better length?

aku: 3R or evo? If it's for Evo throttle horn length I use 14, if i follow the instruction the horn is riding inside the fuel tank. So you better did a line up check before you do any cutting or drilling on the horn.
Another thing you need to be careful on 3R is steering servo horn, on my car, ball of ball cup actually rub the CF on upper deck, I'll to space out the horn with an o ring.

20mm hole will give more throw than 18mm hole but that doesn't matter much since now a day radio have epa, you can compensate with it. I'll go with 18mm or less for more precise movement.

you can use caster clip from mtx3 or v1r or evo. If not you have to buy a part tree. The kit should include enough clips you need, unless you lost one. For 3R you need VZ206 - front arm, For evo VZ101- front arm, or you can get V1R/RR front arm VZ003.
I have few of them if you need them let me know. VZ003 and VZ101 come with 1mm and 2mm clips while VZ206 come with 1mm clips only.

Boner, I believe it's for his 3R.
Did Kyosho give you servo spacers for specific brand servos? The spacers go between the servo and the mount.

I know the Evo steering servo had them. Maybe you can use those for spacers so and your servo horn is more secure.

what is the part number of the upright, the upper linkage that sits atop the rear upright? will the front knuckle arm from RRR fits on my RR?

Thanks for the input guys,

the binding's existent without the steering knuckles installed.
anyways, was just wondering whether this was normal, coz my RR and then evo were quite free. Anyways the new design's quite a change from the previous versions.

If i dare say this one's gonna be joy to stip.... To get to the diffs are especially a joy...

Just to make things clear, did you use 3R arms since you saying blinding exist without steering knuckles?

I tried just 3R front knuckle and rear upright on EVO and have no blinding problem.

I went to a hobby shop and a guy brought in his RRR, he needed some parts to make the car run. It looked cool as hell, I told him that i would only go to the RRR if they stop making parts for my RR. The car looked a lot wider than mine, and I got to check out how everything was in it, and how easy the diff comes out. Truly an exceptional car.

Default 3R lower arm binding

Yes Boner am using the 3R arms... There's little freeplay, although when i flip the bulk head on its head, both arms do come down, but again these are not as free as my Evo's.
