Default Re: Wheel adaptors

c888, I'm not sure what the 3Racing adaptors are doing to your wheels? They are the same thing as my Kawaharas.

Maybe it's your wheels, I was using the same ones you have, and they tweak like crazy. Plastic is two soft and has no return memory to keep in shape. Sooo, I use Twister Tires now. Freakin awesome wheels with great traction. I use 40s all around. 37s in the back if the track is low on sugar-water.

But if you insist, check these out:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...913197102&rd=1
e-mail the guy to see if he has another pair.

Thats all I really found, everyone else sells 3Racing.

no, those are 3racing too. 3racing has cheap quality stuff, but everyone knows that Kawahara has one of the best quality hop ups, why do you think they are expensive.

c888, sorry bud! I'm having a hard time finding them. The reason they're a little more money is because they're hard to get. But if you find them in the same shop in HK together. They would probably cost almost the same.

I'll wait till you find it. Kyosho makes the wheel adapters too but they don't look too good

I know they can be found in HK, but i never visit HK, I went to HK web hobby shops and they don't have it.

Hi guys, I've just ordered a V1RRR from Japan and will get it in a few days. I now run FW-05R (great car once I set it up properly) and wanted to try the RRR. I have a couple of questions and I'd appreciate your help:

1. Does anyone know if the rear diff setup differs from shaft to belt? I run 10k (stock setup) rear diff with a front one-way on my FW-05R and it works great. However, most of the other guys running MTX-3 and V1 runs 30k rear diff oil. I tried 30k and the car was undriveable (pushes offpower and fishtails on power).

2. How does the TCD gear set work on the V1? I tried it on the FW and the car again is undriveable. It oversteers going into the corner and loose while on power. It's even worse than the 30k rear.

Thanks!

Ok, I'll order them later, I just ordered some parts from tower because one of my parts are broken, so I won't have money for a while.

You can also use the Reflex NT aluminum hexes - also found at Towerhobbies. They're around $20. also, but they're not anodized blue.

RC Champ is reputable and I's sure you will get your car. The EMS tracking number is tricky. It is case sensitive and you have to trck the sipment on the Japan Post web site until it arrive in the US then you can use the USPS web site.

I ordered mine from Pro Shop Futaba (www.pro-s-futaba.co.jp). I have ordered from Ishiimokel (www.ishiimokei.com) in the past too. Both have good prices, responds to email fairly quickly, and trustworthy.

getting the hexes isn't the problem, money is the problem. I went Like $400 over my limit, I have spent over $1000 on this car, and it's a little bit out dated. But at least I won't need a new radio or starter box or charger or glow plug ignitor when I buy a new car.

Damn recesion, I need a job
