Ok, I checked and the ride height for the front is 5mm, and the back is 5.5mm

The toe out is horrible in the front where both wheels turn outward. In the back the toe in is just right. I also need to adjust camber and caster.

Can you brighten-up these pics or shoot them with more light aimed at the area in question? I can't see the mod work at all.

Thanks once again Kewdawg! makes sense now that the other guy at the track told me to use 5,000 in the rear to get more traction as my track hasnt got much traction. somewhere i also read that the thinner the oil the more diff action. how does this effect traction may i ask please?

Default NTC3 Tank Mod on Evo

KD, Here's another illustration of how I set up the tank and battery tray. You could also customize a graphite or plastic tray for a battery holder. Let me know if this helps.

Kid TNT [sorry, couldn't resist] you have very good mods and the illustrations are superb.

Got me thinking about pulling out the dremel and mitre box!

Very well done.

Thanks T, my real name is actually Tom T, hence TNT.
I'm glad you like the mods.

I've actually been using this tank set up for about a year now. Lowering the throttle servo to about .02mm above the bottom chassis helps too. I just put on a Kawahara micro clutch that gets the engine to about .01mm from the chassis also. And with the spool ... the rear never kicks out. And on throttle, it turns like a charm.

Here's another more simple mod, cut open the upper deck (circled in yellow). It saves on belt wear and tear. If can, I also mitred the bottom chassis where the front belt runs along. About 1.2mm. I haven't replaced a belt for the longest time.

Good luck, bud! Let me know if you have any tricks to share.

Brain..., you'll find the answer on pages 380 and 381. You already asked me this question! Dude, you gotta start reading back a few pages, every now and then.

lol yea i know i was just trying to re-confirm my thinking! as you said the thinner the oil the more diff action and you said this results in less traction! since my track has less traction you advised thinner diff oil. And it works!!! i love the new diff oil in it i have so much confidence in it! and im running 40 rears now and the tire wear is much better compared to 37's... i just wanna learn why is 5,000 diff oil in the rear = less traction yet on a low bite track it has more traction... confusing hey?
And thanks for your help and support lately! i've 90% learnt all i need to know about diff oil the 10% left over is full schematic reasons
Cheers

does my car weigh right? I weighed mine with everything installed and an empty gas tank and it weighs 1698grams, which is about 3.7 lbs.
