Joop: look at your manual on the optional part listed at the back, you can see list of the spring listed. Silver - soft, black - medium, gold - hard. Than there are other springs that are color coded, these spring are over lap the original 3 spring choices. They offer more fine tuning thru spring.

Doki: V1RR manual suggested 25teeth pulley (over drive) with 1 way.

My diffs leaks a lot, too?!? What are you doing to keep them from leaking? I know about the optional blue aluminum diff w/ the o-ring, for the rear. Is there a "fix" for the "stock" rear diff? Also, what about the front diff?

Anyone have a set-up for a medium to large, smooth asphalt/parking-lot track w/ medium traction/bite? Using foam tires.

don't tighten 1 screw at a time. slowly tighen each screws. Do it as you were tighten 1:1 wheel locknut. You can use 3mm machine screw on the rear to tighen it. Just make sure you find the same length.

I did just that! Maybe, i'll try the 3mm machine screws. Can you use the o-ring that comes with the aluminum diff, on the stock diff? If, so, what's the part number?
