It has always been this way with the Kyosho shaft cars.

Check Superten series.

O yeah, btw, 4-stroke is for R/C fun. They are not for racing.

Kyosho has made a low CG engine mount for the 05R which could fit on the EVO. I don't see why Kyosho wouldn't make one for the RRR.

I particularly like the little tray on top of the receiver - somewhere to put those G4 wheel nuts while contemplating what tyres to use.
No problem at all

I would rather have the throttle, like seen in concept X, facing in, but you can't have everything. I guess that if you don't crash a lot (and I know you don't), then there would not be uncontrolled WOT happening

I second that Taylor Racing, I hope there is a Pro Conversion kit. If not a Pro kit will have to do.

Hey finchy,

Yeah, it looks like there's just too many changes to make a "Conversion Kit" viable. It might be easier to count what remains the same.

Anyway, I thought you changed horses.
Has the RRR got you doing a re-think?

no it definatly hasn't changed my mind.. To be honest I would be pissed off if they offered another conversion kit. In my mind they should have maybe released that car 12 months.I hope this bring the competetiveness of the 2 chassis closer. It's been Mugen, Mugen at the track until last weekend when the 710 came to town, Tq and won the A Main. I guess the driver has a lot to do with it.

Yes, the 14mm height 05R mounts will fit the EVO, but in lowering the engine, the pinions are then unable to engage the spurs. I'd considered elongating the holes in the chassis, but it would be rather too much. Some mounts with offset holes might work.
I expect the RRR would have the engine mount holes in the chassis about 3mm further back.

Kyosho V-One-RRR is not released yet in Japan.
It will be released around on July.
