Just completed the finals of my Evo. In Extreme RC Car this month they tested the Evo and had a great article. The one thing they didn't like was how the reciever was exposed. Well the Mugen MTX-3 cover fits just nice. Easy fix. I did notice that my Evo's throttle linkage was in the direct path of the stock antenna holder. I had to move it over a little. Other than that the car is built like a TANK. My Mongoose is ready to eat some SNAKES!!!

Hey Nitropimp, do you need to do any modifications to the MTX3 receiver box in order to fit it onto your RR Evo? Or do you simply screw it on into place?

Rob- I've had a couple V one R's and man Kyosho makes a awesome car!!! But man I love my Evo. Laydown servo gives you low CG. Pick up last month's Extreme RC they did a killer reivew on the Evo. PM AMG he's got a kit at a great price. You can try ebay. The cheapest I've seen was $150 shipped. I was looking for a used Evo and have my RR as back up. But I got lucky. Maybe you can too!!

Diesel- like Boner said the cover fits like a glove.

Ohh BTW guys bad NEW's. A friend told me that the info on the kit conversion to the RRR is not going to happen. He said that whole car is redone. But he did have some good NEWs in that the kit for RRR is a Pro Kit. So I'll stick to my Evo and maybe try to get a FW05.
