Heyalignmentguy- Do you pratice with Jonathen at Delta on Friday's??? Also do also have a Mugen MTX-3??? Anyway yeah I would love to see your car.... I'm just kinda lost on what to do with it. Get the Evo kit or wait for the RRR to come out? What's your opinion?

No I can not practice on Fri, Have a Shop to run

I do not have a MTX-3 Just the MRX.

I have heard that there may be a RRR Conversion kit available, I got the Evo Conversion kit when it was available from a good friend in HK.

I can remember when my car was just a plain ol V one R with rubber tires, I would say you will not loose if you go either way.

I may go out to Delta on SUN if it doesnt rain. I talked to Jonathan today, He is going to Vegas to race and I can not go

I will keep you informed

Hey guys, this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3186471554 is what I just bought. I am somewhat new to nitro, though I had a trinity reflex before, and know the basics. Can anyone tell me what I should do once I recieve the car, and how gold springs all around with TRC double purples up front and purple rears will work on medium grip ashphalt? Also, what is a good starter box for the car?

1st thing you should do is do a tear down of the car and go through all the bearings and parts to make sure there is no hidden damage.
2nd, pull the motor and check the rod. and sleeve and piston.
inspect the rod for wear and piston assy for over heating bearings should also be looked at at this time. buying any used motor is a hit and miss thing as it is.
Im not sure what shore those tires are but try 35 in the rear with 37 in the front , gold should be ok. ofna makes a good starer box, get the one with the big single motor and not the one with the twin 540's.

Thank you, I was definitely going to clean all the bearings, and make it as free as I can, I'm used to my electric TC's, you need all the power to the ground with a free drivetrain. The tires are 45/40 shore. Seems to work for a few other nitro drivers.

Good luck Rob. I was using 37 shore all around this past weekend in my 705. Though I have different combos to try out.

I don't know what the effect would be but I'm guessing that it's not going to be good as nobody installs a rear rigid axle with a front diff. A rear rigid axle / solid axle is always paired with a oneway front.

As "D" says, it's usually used with a one-way.
We've tried it with the one-way . . . it'll teach you throttle control.
. . . . oh yeah, bring some extra rear tyres.
