first i'll check to see if you have your 2nd speed shoe holder (FM361) sceured to the main shaft. then check to see if there are any oil on the 2 speed clutch bell. A rebuild on your 2 speed will fixes your problem

try 3 turns out first. you could have the 2speed engaged too early instead.

So the proper setup is 3 turns out, I currently have it set to test at eight (8) turns out...

You should never have to full replace it. Nothing except the clutch shoe and thrust bearing should wear if it is tuned and maintained properly. Things I would check:

1. Clutch shoe should not be glazed or overly worn looking. If so replace.
2. Thrust bearing should be smooth and balls should roll freely. If unsure you can replace.
3. Clutchbell bearings should be clean and roll freely. If they are binding or too dirty replace.

The remainder of the parts should last almost forever.

one more thing to add on top of what amgracer's comment.

sloppy bearings will jeopardize clutch end play.

My nightlly question.......Manti- I have a brand NEW V one RR with the Kyosho Neg diff. in the rear. I was going to change over to the Evo with a converion kit but with the RRR coming out, should I wait....? Will the RRR have a conversion for the RR? Or should I just sell the RR??? Aslo is there anywhere I can see how to switch the V one RR to the Mugen rear end (what parts I need?) When is the RRR coming out? Sorry about soo many questions but man I confused.... Is there a V one Manticorrrrre???

guys,
can the "M1RR" conversion be avoided by adding shims/washers under the ball stud?

the stock rear upright only provides you with 2 camber link angle. the use of mugen upright is to provide more camber link angle with very fine adjustment flexibility.

wait for the RRR and it comes with mugen type or fantom type rear upright.
