Default Diff set-up

Guys;

MOST of the Guys running V1's (R, RR, EVO, Etc) out here locally prefer a Rear Diff with 50,000 oil and Front One-way.

A Spool will put more power to the ground, but much harder to drive for most people.

Smile 50000wt in the rear

Ultimately, that's what I wound up with and kept. I'm lucky enough to have a few diffs handy with 40000, 50000 [installed] & 60000, versus having to dismantle, drain and fill.

Pops, two things: thanks for confirming the rear-end diff notion and nice new look!

Use the active diff and you can adjust without dismantling!

Ok, lemme rephrase. Where can I buy it online? Kawahara's site only shows a picture of it but no way to order.

Speaking of setups....have you tried 50000 in yours yet? Also are you going to be racing Airtronics this year?

Bounty Hunter;

Yes, I have the 50,000 in my Rear diff. Made the Car a little harder to drive, just need to get used to it.

Still not sure about Airtronics. I will make the decision tomorrow at the track, based on how well the car is working for me.

Now I know at the last race you stiffened up the springs and you liked the results. I think if you are able to handle 50000 in the rear diff you will be ok. I think we both have a little tendency to throw the car into the corners a little hard. I myself am trying to keep myself from doing that. Anyways I hope to see you at Airtronics.
