Nearly finished the Evo conversion but a couple of slight prblems

The middle belt is tighter than it was on the RR. I am sure the 19t pully was on the side and the 18 at the front right?

Anygody got any picks of the servo saver? Mines interfering with the chasis

Cheers

hi there...the 18 tooth goes on the front middle belt...the 19 is on the out swide gear box lay shaft.....the belt isa bit tight but its ok....didi you wind up the collar .5 mm from chassis.....i shimmed the front one way over to the left to clear the servo saver.......mines ok....you must be doing something wrong.

I dont seem to have as much turning circle as the RR. I havent tried it on the track yet but the lock is a lot less

Has anybody noticed any problems with limited steering?

Cheers

Default More Speed

Guys;

Using cut down tires to combat traction rolling, I now find that I am running out of gear on our straight.

What has everyone been doing to get a taller overall gear ratio for running on very large tracks?

Thanks,

The 24T conversion comes from 3 Racing. It changes the internal drive ratio from stock 2.53 to 2.0.

Default Front One Way

I am using front one way on my car... when I make an emergency brake, the car will stop and make a U turn ( always turn to right and side), the steering is still straight... Is this normal or is my car setting?

You are right on both counts, it is normal and it is your cars settings. You need to have removed all of your tweak from your car. Also you need to reduce the braking power of your car from the transmitter until it no longer spins.

popsracer I use the tallest 0.8 module gearing availble (22 1st & 27 2nd). I find this is fine at my club track which is quite large. the fast ratio gear set you speak of from 3 racing is ok, but I ditched after a few test session as I didn't think it's as good as it should have been. That's my opion anyway.

Thanks,
you might want to get the 15T 1st pinion and the 49T spur from kyosho too, unless you have an engine powerful enough to pull a 6:1 first gear ratio. even with the 15/49, the bottom end still suffer a lot.

Pops,

What's the longest straight your trying to conquer?
What engine?
Most of the comments I've heard locally and on here say the 3Racing conversion is rather too tall.
One of the local guys told me he has some after market pinions coming that are taller than the 27T.
