I have the Evo conversion kit rom JPL racing, it's a compilation of 3 racing parts and kyosho parts. Everything needed for the conversion is there except for 2 speed and pinions. They work fine for me, i am satisfied with them.

Thanks Man!

I wasnt going to use the 0.8 gears anyway as I have the set of the old ones and they are OK.

Apart from the conversion kit whats the most usefull hop ups? I have been looking at the new type of blade rear roll bars. Anybody using these?

Cheers

the wider rear foam tires will not fit right? so i just have to use the same size with the front foam tires?

make the rear track width a bit narrow and use spacer at the hex and that you may use stand zero offset wheel.

standard RR doesnt need to use 2mm offset wheels. it has shorter dog bone and a spacer in between the hex adaptor and the outter hub bearing.

I havent got a solid rear axle but wanted to try one on my car. What if I just plug the rear diff with putty. Will that work just as good?

Do i need to run a softer front to compensate?

Cheers

some use snake cleaning putty there.

you just need to adjust your driving style. you may have more throttle time.
