3racing quality is second to GPM (from the worst) i will avoid using it unless i dont have a choice.

Thanks Taylor,I will take that into my consideration. At the moment I will try 20/61 for the 1st and 25/56 for the 2nd speed as suggested by Manticore. Then I will give a try on 26/56 and yours 25/55 for the 2nd speed.

Default My new set-up

WoW!
I?fm so happy the my new Evo. chassis. Although I have only run my machine for a short time during engine break-in, I?fm very glad with the set-up that I have. I look forward to pushing its limits, techin?f it out and racing with my new friends at the local circuit.
I hope to learn from all of you that have the incite and advice that I need and respect. Thank you. In my neck of the woods language barrier is a bit of a hold back, but I work on it.
See ya in the Forums! R.F.

i just got hold of a vonerr in a trade. the guy who used to own it ran foams and pretty much had it dialled in (or so he says). i plan on running rubber (as of now) and was wondering if there's any change in the gearing that i have to do in order for it to work.

i believe the car was set-up to use foams and vds. i already have the hardware to convert it to accept tc but am not sure if there's anything else i have to do as far as pulleys are concerned. i read somewhere that the kit comes with pulleys that produce overdrive. if i use rubber tires, can i still use these or do i have to change the pulleys to make it run 1:1.

by the way, am running front diffs. any help/info will be greatly appreciated. thanks guys .

I just ordered the Evo conversion kit from JPL racing in Singapore. This is not the Kyosho kit. Does anybody have this and whats it like? It has the 3racing chassis!

Cheers

I'd be guessing, but maybe JPL made up a kit of the necessary parts when the Kyosho EVO upgrade kit became unavailable.
What does the JPL kit contain? . . . got a link?

Actually I thought JPL only did Martian "Off-Road" vehicles.
