Its quite easy to bent them... actually.. it was the middle shaft I bent.... dont know how... think it had something to do with the dadgy 6000 series ally I made it out of... got my hands on some 7075 and never had a problem... actually still think I have some still kicking about in my pit box...

Thumbs up Re: Question to Manticore

Manticore,

Thanks for the info, I am using 1.0 gears, would a change to 0.8
Evo spec spur gears help? As I can get these, but not the clutch gears.

A nice pair of front universals would be nice.

How about a metal roll bar, if there isnt one out there

i have no idea! initially i thought it was the spur gears not on preperly and after proper inspection (rolling it on a flat surface) i found that it wa bent... ever so slightly though.

I havn't been in any stacks though, so i'm just as curious as you! aside from that, everything else is ok. Oh btw, what do you think about a SIRIO .12 outlaw? was reading up on it... pretty neat stuff hehehe

I don't have the engine compression gauage but just by feeling it while turning the engine over will give you an indication of the compression.

BTW, found the culprit... a bit 2spd shaft >_< just slightly, but enough to cause binding. thnx for the help guys, i only discovered it while looking for a stone in the brake pulley like you guys suggested
Actually that is how NOT to check for compression man That is why I asked. You need to check compression hot and with some lube in the engine. Check how long it holds compression at TDC.

The 0.8M gears are supposed to be more efficient.
You will need to use Kyosho 0.8M pinions with 0.8M spurs.

I have a really stupid question..... I am getting this car soon.... and I have noticed that parts are kinda hard to get. I know tower has them, but most of them are out of stock. Is there any overseas shops that carries all the parts for the EVO kit?

Will the Rear Suspension Arms from the V-one RR fir the EVO kit?
