Is it still raining there?
Come to Oz and race - we are just getting over the worst drought in 100 years.

Aaaah well... divide it by 2 for me !

What's that... uhhh.... ahhh.... hmmm.... yeah so I can expect to pay around $325 , not too bad considering I got the 12TR for $200.

One day soon I might look into it ... have any idea what the new JP NS12 S3 would go for?

Weather is OK now......but you don't need to rub it in with the drought!!!!

Your right . . . even with the drought we've managed to get rained out a few times recently.
. . . . . looking good for this weekend, though.

You mean $325 from dtm's home town?
That still sounds too cheap.

Hadn't really considered a JP/NS12 'cos I thought the JP/S3's were a bit dissapointing, really.

Yep, going from that it would definately have to be under $400.

How were the JP S3s disappointing, reliability wise ?

DC's got the JP NS12 for the Nats... wonder what he'll make of it.

I figured the JP S3s should have had similar sting to a Rody and I guess I just haven't seen it. Dexter's opinion might be helpfull since he owns one.

Haven't seen a JP/NS12 go, but it may be totally different (better).
I thought DC was going to run a new fangled Dragon STS at the Nat's? I think the JP/NS12 might have been a backstop - I'm guessing here.

I've always had problems keeping the setting with the active diff, so I stopped using it. Wondering how you got yours to work!

Got it! Nice! My only complaint with Kyosho is the nature of the parts support...for instance, I lost the two black spring retainers that we are told to use on the rear shocks on the conversion, instead of the blue ones. Well, to buy that replacement part I've got to buy two whole new, complete shocks! (Looks like Reflex retainers fit though.) Every time I need to replace something, it seems it's packaged along with a lot of other parts that I'm forced to buy. Seems like Mugen's parts are pieced-out a little better. Anyhow I love the conversion and looks like I'll try to make an Outlaw car out of it...

Oh yea, really good show at the TC nats , and those paint jobs are looking really sharp.

Any chance of coming up north next year?
Johnathan Lee wants me to go down south with him to run once in a wile, I just might

Thanks man. I appreciate it.

I was actually up in San Jose for work last month but didn't have time to bring my gear. I should be up there again, probably early next year. Come down to So Cal some time again, Revelation will be having a Toys for Tots race in December...

Jonathan showed up a lot down here before the Nats... he and Thello-true R/C madmen!
