I have two sets of Fast 42 front and 40 rear on their way with the Evo.

You going to be racing it at Lilydale this Sunday coming up? I'd like to see how it goes .
Yep, these days we run the same front and rear - we've tried every other bleedin' combination.
We're running "Active" so during winter we typically run 35's at Dandenong and 37's at Lilydale. When summer comes it'll likely be 37's and 40's respectively.

If you're hinting at a tyre choice for VORTEC, and given that your a rival club . . . .
Seriously, though, if your bringing your Evo - 35's will see you right.

What you have coming in Fast sounds about right, but it's a long time since we ran any GRP's. Haven't really decided on next Sunday yet . . . probably.

Not bringing the Evo to VORTEC, i'm running the 'S' in Pro Stock. It'll probably be the last time I run it too .

Oh well... gotta move on !

Using same technology for brake pad for real car, brake pad was aleady glued in the factory. Improves brake efficiency.
Uses Ventilated Brake Rotor to aid cooling.
Now that's getting real business! APP makes disc pad for RC cars... , can we have some 'Brembo' brake disc or Ceramic Brake Disc plss....

the o-ring there is to provide some flex and shock absorb. the o-ring in that place is to maintain low CG of the tank !!

yes, the stud is for the 5th post.

Default Difference in the conversion and kit

I heard there is a difference between the EVO conversion kit and the EVO kit, is it?

something like the carbon radio tray and shimo chassis??

the full kit is standard parts such as FRP deck, 6061 main plain chassis.

the conversion kit comes with CG deck and 7075 shimo chassis..... and bearings for the bell crank !

Don't consider the carbon top deck or standard chassis a "must do" hopup. The optional parts are nice and stiff but the standard car is no slouch.

I agree with the Taylor racing team driver. Logged some more hours at the wheel and I am finding the car has much more steering but is more stable at the same time. The standard EVO seems to be better than my modded and hopped up V1RR.

Still no laps under race conditions tho (damn rain!)
