Weekend results. Well not good the car didn't feel all that great until the last heat and the B Main. By this time the car felt awesome. I was leading the B final by 2 laps, then blown plug, this was quickly fixed ( thanks Sparksy ). Back out to play catch up then 2 laps in on catch up stripped 1st pinion. I seriuosly had the race in the bag but alas machanical failures caught up with me. There is always next meet.

Ahhh, that's too bad . . . . sometimes even the Force isn't enough.
Luckily Sparksy's at a loose end now, eh.

I wonder if I'd prefer a day like yours to our series of rain outs.
What is it with this weather? I thought we were having the worst drought in 100 years.

Finchy was having a nice drive... leading, calm, collected... bloody plug.

I changed mine just before my final... I had a ball.. dipped into the 18's for the first time, and got a few more laps in the 20 min than I had before... so I left the track on a bit of a high.

Pitty I wont be able to race for 4 months....

What am I going to do for a pitman in melbourne?.... I dont think I'll be able to drag Finchy down there..... lol

What side of Melbourne will you be on, South/Eastern Suburbs has Lilydale and Dandenong. who race opposite weekends, other side has Geelong or Keilor who also run opposite Sundays.

I'm sure a pit man can be found/shared.

If your in a different heat to young Sammy, I'm sure Gav Taylor will be free

Ahh 235mm, well your only real choice will be Lilydale. We get 6-8 guys lately. Tourers get 12-18, including Team Taylor.

You never know Sparksy, I may have to come and visit you on a racing hoilday down in Melb. As long as it's not too cold and there is enough sunlight. If I don't catch up with you before you go STAY COOL and many many thanks for all you're help over the last few meets, it's a shame you have to go, but a man's got to do what a man's got to do.

ps keep in touch I've still got that shirt coming Dad arrived in US today.

Too funny. you guys sound as bad as the NTC3 owners who think their car is the greatest thing since sliced bread. The reflex is a good car and it has some advantages over the V1R and the V1R has some advantages over it.

If trinity improved the plastics issues which I heard they did with the second release of kits (the ones with the black wheels) then there really is no reason for V1R owners to think their car is any better than a reflex. People quit pissing on the car when they saw how fast joel and josh could go with it...

Kyosho needs to step up to the plate and sponsor some good drivers in the US or else the car is going to remain at its current level in the U.S. and the reflex will continue to be developed...and by next year the V1R will be the unquestioned "poor cousin" to the reflex.
Remember this ...? Evo seem answer the question...More study on Japan track instead of USA. But he right though..Kyosho USA need to get good driver such as....

I dont really get the point of your post??

Some people are impressed by race results and fast team drivers using brand XYZ car. If Kyosho USA gets says Surikan to drive for them what would that do for YOU?

"best pitman in the southern hemmi...."
I needed a laugh.
Hey, I hardly ever spill fuel in pit lane . . . except when Peter J sees me.

OK, you'll be running 235mm . . . so as OZDC says, Lilydale is your only real choice there - we can handle the pitting easy. You'll have about an hour's drive to Lilydale from Essendon. The weather will be just like Brisbane in winter.

On the alternate weekends you can spectate at Dandenong - shoulda kept that tourer . . .

Exactly . . . look how many people bought a NTC3.

Wow that Evo upgrade looks great! But where is the battery going to go?

Also my friend crashed my VoneRR into the sidewalk the other day! Head-on onto the sidewalk! The fuel tank cracked. Then I let him run it again and he crashes into the sidewalk again but this time it was on the exhaust side. The stinger bent, the left wing of the rear floating body mount snapped. I told him that he had to repay me. I went to the LHS to get a gas tank and it was $23.00 USD!!! WOW. Anyways I just wanted to share my story.
