Wonder if I could get the Low CG tank in there - it might foul the steering servo.
those are finer pitch pinion and spur first offered by kawahara. those are 0.8 pitch gears !

looks like we need to stick with the standard fuel tank !

Ahhh . . I thought it might have meant 0.8 pitch, as being introduced on the MTX-3, but wasn't sure. I hadn't seen 0.8 pitch gears before, and presumed they were a MUCH finer pitch than the standard ones - a bit like EP gears.
Visually they don't look different - what does the 0.8 refer to?

Bugger about the tank not fitting - it's really good.

0.4 pitch equal to 64pitch gear that is widely used on EP.

Hmmm . . . OK.
I had guessed that with .08 pitch gears, there would be 25% more teeth when compared to 1.0 pitch.
Visually, it doesn't look like it

What's the big advantage, anyway? - lower drag?

"waddle" . . . yeah, we have a gravity challenged gentleman at our track, also.

So, what's this in the "For Sale" thread, sparksy?
. . . you seen the light and coming back to the fold?

Well.. having way too much fun racing of all things a Serpent... 235mm rocks....

And I'm going away with work for a while and will miss the rest of the year... So it will be time for a new chassis next year... hopefully racing down in Melbourne for a few years.

Oh, great.
Lilydale have a good 235mm following.
We typically alternate between Lilydale and our home track SERCCC - at Dandenong. That usually means we can race every weekend.
Feel free to yell out when your coming - would love to meet up at the track or whatever.

Ahhhh . . . . don't.
After purchasing five cars last year, and just one this year, I've had a lot of trouble resisting the MTX-3. I'd just like to try a little longer.

. . . . . it sure looks like a good deal, though.
I won't be showing Sam this post.
