Don't know who that was, but finishing in the pointy end of the feild, sure does feel good.

Just couldn't get those laps down past 20, must be the conditions.

It was a good drive mate. Jeff only got under 20's a few times.... and the traction was fairly good today..... much better than say... um... midweek.

Got to questions to ask. Firstly does anyone know about this rumoured new car that Kyosho is making. Supposedly it's a cross bewtween a NTC3 & VoneR. Sounds like there developing it to have the handling of the associated with the strength of the trusty R. So if anyone has herd about it let us know, i was told it's comin out next year. Also would like to hear your thoughts on shaft driven cars does it help handling or just acceleration and top speed cause of less friction points? Also Taylor-Racing start gloating about the default win!

Dexter check out the previous pages there are shoots of this chassis you speak about. It's not really shaft driven in the same way as the tc3 but a split shaft drive affair. Check it out and you can make your own mind up.

"default win!"
Dexter, I'll have two bottles of that vinega, your making with those sour grapes.

And another thing . . . with that sort of cheek and your post count, Manti would likely rip your bloody arms off as soon as look at you, with the mood he's in.

Anyway, for the benefit of the Qld'ers, and given that I am an ex Qld'er, we ran two heats, my driver TQ'd them both, the rain came, and the winner was decided on the qualifiers. This is normal procedure - can't be fairer than that.

. . . . and Dexter, your lucky we didn't take out that restrictor - would have sucked the paint right off your car.

Hey, finchy,
Well, you've got our results for the day.

Anyway, our next race meeting on the 15th June is an Enduro event.
The format is: Ten teams (of three cars) for a three hour race - that'll be fun.

Questions:
Will our vintage VoneR hold together.
Will the MTX-3's have enough Rx juice to make it.
How many tyres are we going to need.
Can I do 11 decent pit stops in a row.
When do I get lunch.

Well I had a ball on the weekend. When you start like that you know it does not end well

1st heat, took the win drove a little bit too hard but was a good run.

2nd heat, broke the track record for a single lap, 9.33 down to 9.13. However my header spring failed (!?!?) and my pipe came off the actual motor so I did not place.

3rd heat, chasing down the leader about 3/4 time in the race and he braked too hard in front of me and I punted him off the track. I pulled over to wait for him and the marshall took forever to put him back on the track. 3rd and 4th place passed up both while I was waiting and I finished 4th in the end.

Final. Was up the pointy end dunno exactly where either 1st or 2nd. Small contact with the rope and the wheel tore free from the hex and rolled away. Race over before the first fuel stop
