you should be able to adjust your rear end to suite the sweeper.

I think is more to do with the body! stratus 2.1 seems to have alot more downforce at the rear then 300m that I normally use but if I use 300m i would trade off stabilty through the infield. still had me thinking

Interesting thing that I found out is that the roll center adjustability in the rear accounts for some of the performance that we see from the MTX-3. I have heard from some MTX-3 owners that also run the V One RR tell me that the internal drive train ratios are higher on the MTX-3 and that is why the car seems to be quicker off the corners. I am still in the process of researching to see what those ratios are and to find a solution for the V One RR. May be on to something... Need to test it....

Both MTX-3 and the V1RR have same internal drive ratios...

I think the overall ratio is a bit higher on the Mugen Vince. Most of my gearing differences between the two cars have to do with motors (short stroke vs. long).

I think you are right Kevin, I have been going though a driveline ratio formula and it keeps telling me that the standard MTX-3 setups in 1st gear are 6.9 and the V One RR with the same Pinion is at about 7.1. I am still trying to verify that I have all the correct number of teeth on the rear diff. Can anyone verify if the rear diff to the MTX-3 is 48 teeth?

Are you sure about that one? I think they are different. Just slightly though.

1st gear final drive ratio for the MTX-3 with stock gearing (16T/20T pinions and 47T/43T spurs) is 7.42. Final drive ratio for the 2nd gear is 5.43.

Yes, the MTX-3 has a 48T for the rear diff. The pulley arrangement is as below for the MTX-3 (front at the top and rear side at the bottom);

32T
24T 16T

19T 19T
48T

For the V1RR, the rear is the same with the exception of the front side;

32T
27T 18T

19T 19T
48T

If you calculate either front or rear internal drive ratios for the V1RR and the MTX-3, they come up to 2.526316. So they are the same.
