I usually race at Wynnum track lately which is a rubber tire track. Consequently i cannot use the 5 port My pictures a few pages back are the rubber setup.

I will likely be going to Meakin in a few weeks and the 5 port will be coming along as well

how many tims does it take for a new hump pack to fully charge? i've cycled them 3 times and no full power they're rated 1000 but only get 633 max out of it.

Sounds like you have a bum hump pack. I usually cycle it once and it gets over 1100 Mah. I am using the Excel packs that are available at Nitro House.

i had similar problem with my hump pack rx batt as well and i thought it was my new charger at fault, but its not! These new batt required to be charge/discharge and put into use for a few times before you can fully charge them in one single cycle.
Sometimes i got the false peak at 6xx mah/ 7xx mah after 20 min of charging, but all i did was to unplug the rx and plug it in again and let it charge. If charging stop after 300mah, then you may repeat the step (plug it in) and leave it until the next cut-off. Sometimes i have to repeat this process 3 times, but after the 3 charging cycle, i sum up the total charging that was fed into the rx, it's around 1100 mah or a little more!!!

All others rechargeable batts like the AAA and AA Rx are much worse! Because these small batts does not like charging at anything more than 1amp.

Default New V1RR owner

Hi guys!! I just bought a V one RR last 2 wk and this is my first R/C touring car after almost 6 years quitting the hobby. I bought at my LHS with a package deal including OS .12 TR(P)T and Kyosho Tuned pipe.During my absence in this hobby I m not that update about the engine technology. Not that the OS is not fast but I need an engine for my stock should anything happen to my OS.The thing is my LHS recommend me the Nova Rossi based engine JP Racing tuned RS12 T5S1 as an upgrade engine, is this a good engine? What is the engine power rating? Also how do I set up my car is it worth to buy the setting up board?

Do you run your voner on a prepared track?
Also, what springs & shock oil # do you use?
