V-One-R with Mugen rear end and Serpent shocks?
I have these shocks on my Impact.

I might have to do some tinkering and find out if they will fit

yea...Heyalignmentguy is right...just buy the MTX-3 and give it a shot...this 3 is starting to sweep the local races now and i am getting the 3 very soon. If i like the 3 more than the RR, then i mught have to let go the RR...

The jury is still out on the MTX3 as far as I am concerned, I have only seen 2 at the track and they where having growing pains, They look promising but I myself will stick with the ol relable K car even with all the mods I did to it

I think the basic lay out will be around for some time to come, I think we may see a mtx-3 style rear end come out in the near furture if it's as big handling improvement as it sounds like it iseven might see a diff style set up like the 705,you know the old saying if you can't beat, join them.

talking about the mtx-3 rear end, i find that my RR is so much more stable than before when coming out of turns with heavy gas...without fishtail whatsoever....
i run on a tight track with Solid Rear...

Whats the big deal with the 3 rear end anyways? I know many of you guys swapped it into the RRs, but I don't recall anyone mentioning the significance of them. What features make it so great?

Any news on the Serpent shock swap? Do the Kyosho springs fit the shocks?

Changing the rear makes the rear roll center adjustable by adding washers to adjust the rear camber link.

Benefit if set up right for conditions lets you stab the gas in the corner earlyier for faster exit speed

Oh yea I also forgot you can also use 30mm 0 offset foams without any problems

I see, but the R has the ability to change rear roll centre as well though. But I assume the 3 rear allows for even more adjustment? Its those a-b-c spacer things right?
