I tested out there yesterday and found the track is to be medium-high traction. Overall the handling is much predictable now than another temporary parking lot track that i used to play. Tyre wear now is much reasonable and i will try out 40/ 42 shores.

But one thing i noticed though is that the car seemed drifting quite a bit when i powered through the corner. Drifting effect means more tyre wear? the car run wide if i powered too hard through the corner... How should i correct this?

Thanks Manti and guys...
the cause of this is mainly due to not enough rear camber and incorrect tire used.

What rear camber you ran on your V1RR?

well, i run -4 on the rear and 35 shores. Downstop is 4mm.
Also, does your clutch bell spins backwards when idling/stationary?

give more then 4 and see how it goes! some people run at 5'

that's the only direction the bell/spur may spin when the car sits still ! AMGracer is correct.

No big secret! It comes from my supplier of everything to do with RC. Harmony Models in Hong Kong. There are contact details and a website in the Hong King forum under online shops.

i had done some testing today and the car handling had improved overall. I was running 35 shore Front and 37 shore Rear, rear camber was set to -4 and at the end of 1 hr run, i took the camber angle and it was -5. The left rear tyre was not cone shape but a rather balanced surface both inner and outer diameter (the Right Rear tyre was a normal cone shape). I supposed this is due to the aggressive left turns after the long straight.
I was wondering if by changing to MTX-3 rear hub would correct this problem?

If you have a sweeper at the end of the straight, the outside tires will generally wear more. I usually rotate tires left to right after every tank to get even wear.

Tried the Mod today, seemed to be verry stable in the sweeper, but the track was not prepped so its hard to say, how it will be when the track is really tacky, but I did have my rear diff loose all its fluid, looks like I missed a spot with the lock tight

Default VONER REPLACEMENT?

Anyone know if and when they will be producing a replacement for the V-one series cars? Feels about time, all the other companies are releasing new cars.

The local V-one R guru here is trying to get me into a MTX-3, but I figure I'll wait for some news from Kyosho. I prolly hang on to my R for another year.

Anybody know? And where can I find out about this? (Kyosho websites are awfull)

I think that they will up date it just like they did the fantom.

Hey i got a question will the fantom hubs bolt on the v1r look at the fantom evolution they did the mtx3 hub mod and the front bulk head has the hinge pins 1mm lower to lower the roll center. I will let you guys in on somthing lol the reflex front bulk heads have the hinge pin location 1mm lower than the v1r bulk head. I only know this because i picked up some v1 bulk heads in case i break 1 on my reflex
