Do you have the wire diameter for the Fantom springs so we can make some comparisons?
Diameter? I think it is the left most digits

(1.7 mm)
(1.8 mm) ... etc.

Kyosho springs:

Front

1.7 3.0t Black - kit standard

Rear
1.7 4.0t Black - kit standard

Taylor-racing

those number stand for eg front spring thickness 1.7mm with 3 coils and rear 1.7mm with 4 coils. The less coils means harder springs

I use 45 weight oil front and rear with Kit black spring in front and fantom light blue at rear have good success at moorebank good turn-in and good on power steering when exit the corner

Default Kyosho springs

Wolf,
Oooops, my apologies . .

I meant to say:
Do you know the number of coils in the Fantom springs?
Some on your original post aren't listed.

tl2111,
Where do the Fantom light blue rears fit in the picture?
They weren't mentioned in Wolf's listing.

the V1RR rear floating body mount may blind the rear hub badly with this steep angle. We will see how we may solve this problem.

I put stock MTX3 dog bone to the V3RR and they fit well. the V1RR bone becomes too short.

Manti . . You da man.

Now, I'll just import that pic into my CAD package, do a quick bitmap to vector conversion and print the plans.

Seriously, though . . that looks pretty . . . er . . . right
Are you going to give it a test run?

OK. We run TC bodies and I've resisted upgrading to the RR, so I don't have the floating mount to worry about. I just figured buying five cars this past year was enough.

Our racing season starts at the end of January with the Victorian titles in February. I have a small list of jobs to do before then:

Get some MTX-3 uprights for the "MoneR"
I was going to give the JP a rod for a Christmas present, but "IT" decided it needed one at our second last meeting - broke the crank.
I have a new crank organised which will need a visit to Mr Dremel.
Get an alloy brake disk carrier. We lost the plastic one completely at the last meet . . completely gone . . . missing . . . nothing there . . . not even the pin.
Experiment with some extra weight in the Neg. Diff clutch shoes.
Find some Active tyres.

Looking forward to hearing your test results.

Hey, are those the Fantom yellow springs on the "MoneR"?
