hi everyone, i went to my lhs today and bought a hudy set up system(man, so expensive for a few pieces of plastic!, lol)
anyways, i was jus wondering if anyone wanted to share an effective set up for a medium traction concrete parking lot, i'll be using 26mm foams all round. i'll be using 42shore in the front and 37in the rear,
my current set up is as follows:

front end~~~
camber: -2degrees
toe in/out: 0degrees
caster: stock caster
schock mounting positions: stock mounting positions
schock weight: stock silicone

rear end~~~
camber: -3degrees
toe in: 2degrees
shock mouting positions: stock mounting positions
schock wieght: stock silicone
thxs in advance

oh yes, one more thing, when i install the set uo system on my v one rr the rear floating body mount gets in the way, the long black plastic that goes across the width of the car, each time i make an adjustment i hace to take off my rear body mount, and ieas on how to rid this problem?

follow this link and go to the trinity set up page. this dude is a hobby shop owner in oz who has been racing for yonks. try his set up and see what you think. i run 80wt front 60wt rear as oposed to the oil he suggests though. i found it works better for me.

there is also srpent set up sheets from another real quick dude. losi etc

i haven't copyed all of it verbatim, this track we race at is a little eclectic when it comes to grip... due to road works going on nearby and blowing crap all over the track

Hey manticore, I have a driving style question. I 've heard that some people use drag brakes with a one way front setup. How did you get around the corners without braking?

Also from the video clip, I see that in the middle of a corner, you throttle. Is that how it is suppose to work?

With a front one way and solid rear setup, u need to throttle to power your car through a turn. Just roll your car into the turn without braking, apply a smooth throttle to see your car through the turn. Judge the point at which you need to slow down before going into the turn without excessive speeds. Thats my driving style for the above setup and it is subjective to different drivers.

It's not a bad place to start setup wise. Regarding your HUDY setup you'll need to remove your rear mount, or try taking a hack saw to your HUDY. How come you bought the HUDY, the Integy one is much cheaper.?

Manticore:
Does the Active Diff take diff fluid or does is it run dry? The instructions make no mention of fluid/grease.

only use brake when the car understeer !

from the video, I didnt use any brake at all! the dynamic drag (solid axle) between left and right wheel slow down your car when you turn into a corner.

Hurhur has just described the driving style for the combo.

I wonder why many people said solid axle and front one way is for wide open track !

suggest you to put metal protection agent which is kind of soft paste type as you can ajust the stiffness of the active diff.
