Default Centax Thrust Bearing?

What are you guys using to lube the thrust bearing in your Centax? I've tried motor oil, moly lube for motorcycle chains, high-heat bearing oil - nothing seems to last longer than one run.

help?

Has anyone used the solid rear axle for the v-one r if so did you have any problems with the lenght of the dogbones being too short, there is no way to space them with o-rings because the rear axle is hollow.

Please Help!!

VONEREFLEXR:

To space the axles you can use the foam cylinders from the front bumper (the ones that you push out when it's new to install) for inside the axle and o-rings for the wheel shafts.

you must be using the Kyosho solid axial, i had the same problem when i was using it. i end up filling the the hollow shaft with RTV and it worked pretty good.

I'm just using Associated black grease. It still gets flung off after two runs, but that's not unusual. It's a high maintenance area in most cars, anyway.

hey can you get that Ronnie's stuff anyplace other than ashford? I can't seem to find anywhere that I can order it quick.

asd- the 24 tooth conversion changes the final ratio of the car and sets it up for more top speed. Seems to me you would lose a lot of punch, but I dunno, i've never done it. You change the 19s to 24s and use yokomo belt.

yeah man turn down the epa so that the servo only attemps to rotate as far as the linkage will allow. You're right you're just straining your servo, draining your batts, and weakening the parts on your car if you don't.
