i have an os12tr(p)10j carb version, it gets the job done and quickly. its not the most powerful motor there is out there but its very reliable, easy to maintain and many people have it in their v one r/r's so u'll get plenty of tuning advice

I was looking at the RB x12 turbo on the RB site and it said that it had a turbo crankshaft and a standard plug? So not all turbo engines have turbo plugs? What makes an engine turbo?

u sure it said that? what defines a turbo engine is the fact that it has a TURBO PLUG, make sure u didnt read it wrong, lol

oh, i was smoking crack, sorry. I'm new to this stuff. yeah, turbo plug, a serpent shaft, slide carb. So turbo engines are much harder to tune i take it?

they are about the same..just that they have a narrower band.
