On the Integy website there's the 19.99 swing shafts/universal shafts and the 29.99 universal shafts. Other than the 19.99 ones being chrome what is the difference? Patelladragger, I think you were the one that recommended the 29.99 ones. How they working out for you? Moreover, I think i've decided on getting a VoneRR, though im sure the front one way is gonna throw me for a loop driving wise. Oh well, I'll deal. Anyways, I was a bit worried about this rear dogbone problem. It worries me a bit that Kyosho made such a basic mistake in design. I'm of the opinion that a performance car should function flawlessly with just stock parts and that hop ups should only be nessacary to increase performance rather than for solving fundamental design problems with the car. Oh well, if these Integy universal shafts solve the problem i guess ill live. I've made up my mind already anyways that im getting the V1rr. Patella you there???

rjl posted the deal on the rear dogbones a while ago. you don't need to use anything but the stock bones if you build the rear-end right. I bought my V1RR used, and I didn't completely rebuild pieces that I didn't think needed rebuilding when I got it. I like to run 32mm+ when I'm not having to be legal so I would have put wide on anyway.

The 19.99 part I believe is the three racing universal and it's smooth but weak. It will bend pretty easy. I don't know who makes the 29.99 one but they're awesome.

Sorry if my abreveation caused any offence. It was not meant to be pollitical. I was refering to tyres not ppl.
Anyway try using the same shore rating front and rear but be mindful that fronts and rears are different compounds.

Default Rear Spring

Has anyone tried the Rear Yellow Spring made from Five Stars?
Is this the softest spring?

Thanks

Default In need of some assistance

I am in need of some assistance. I am building my new V One RR and on Step 2 the front one-way seems to be missing the Onway collars. I have looked through Bags 1, 2, and 3 and have had no luck on finding them. Has anyone else had these collars missing from the kit????

The collars are on the parts tree with the battery bracket. See page 6 part No. 176.

Believe it or not the stock setting works very well... I did increase the oil to 70wt on all 4 shocks, then tweek the sway bars to dial in the car. Rubber Tires I like using Yokomo MED or Firm Sprints with the Ride C-30 insert.
