Loosen or tighten the clutch nut spring. Read your Manual.

u need extra strenght to force the clutch bell out. E.g. Use a screwdriver to do it. Must be gentle and prise the the clutch bell at different spots. Rotate the flywheel and slowly. Else u will damage the flywheel and clutch bell. I suggest u use a cloth to cover the tip of your screwdriver...to avoid the damage...

and, should the 2 speed and clutch stay still when i move the car forward and backwards with my hands?
diagnosis?
plz, i need help
thxs in advance
peace out
the reason i need to know is because i'm having my first race today with the v onerr
plz, i beg of u, reply!
I had the same problem before. Dont worry...
Take out the engine first from the chassis. Check the Clutch Bell on the Engine is spinning freely. If the clutch bell doesnt spin freely, you need to disassemble the engine clutch and build it again according to the manual.

Then you need to disassemble the 2-speed system. Take out both the Spur gears and 2 speed clutch. Assemble them again.
NOTE that when u re-install the 2-speed clutch on the 2 speed shaft. u need to push the clutch right in the end towards the rear bulkhead, and make sure you tighten the screw on the FLAT section of the 2-speed shaft. U may apply a some 'Tread Locker', just a little will do to make sure the clutch stay in that position.
Then Assemble the Spurs and again make sure both the spurs are inserted towards the inside (push them right to the end with left hand pushing the 2-speed shaft on the left at the pulley. This is to make sure there is NO GAP between the 2-speed clutch and the both the spur gears....
Then, install the rest according to the manual. BUT make sure there is no gap in between the clutch and spur gears. U can cross check when shaking the 2-speed shaft if it moves. The shaft should NOT move and it stays in perfect position.
Now, put in the engine and try roll the car forward and backwards, both spurs and pinions should move and not binding.
NOTE that when the car rolls backwards, the Spurs should spin freely.
When roll forwards, the spurs will move and turn the clutch bell.
Hope this help...

The one-way bearing should not be taken out. It is fixed on the 1st spur housing permanently. Kyosho fixed it just to avoid we assemble the wrong direction...!!!
Check the manual....

Does anyone know a source for Kawahara products? I've been trying to find the wide bumper for the V-one R. I tried speedtech with no luck.

Don't do it...the Kawa wide bumper is good for looks...not very good for impacts...breaks up too easy. Stick with the RR wide bumper..........

ASD go back to the manual and make sure everything is set accordingly. If you still have problems take your car to your local Hobby shop or track and ask for help.

hey guys, i had mah first race with the v one rr
let me tell u, this car kicks ass!
but.........at about 2 mins(maybe less) into the first qualifier, one of the "3D weights came out and i had to remove the enitre clutch and 2 speed tranny, then in the first main, the clutch shoes came out again!!!
anyhow, i think i might just get a normal clutch, would the clutch on the original V One R work?, would i need to get a new flywheel?
thxs in advance
peace out
