Default Gear Shift...

Hi Guys...
I've made the gear to change rather smooth now...thnkx everybody!
However, the gear shift is 'soft' to be heard! I noticed some other guys' car with significant gear shift sound and thus its easy to tell which gear and at what speed..etc...!
Currently, i am running stock gearing, 16-20 & 48-44. If i want that significant gear shifting effect, what must i change? Change the Gearing or Centax?

Many Thnkx...

you could try a bigger 2nd spur gear.

Do you hear the car shift into 2nd?

yes, i could hear the gear shifting into 2nd, but not as obvious as the rest of other guys where their cars dashed faster in speed!

Or has it got to do with engine rpm? The higher rpm the more obvious? Because currently, i have loosen the 2-speed clutch abt 5.5 turns out, and the shift timing is very early (Coz' the track is small).

2nd Bigger spur gear - means 45T and above? What is u guys gearing?
Cheers

reset your 2speed clutch at 3 turns out after tighten the adjusting screw. this is a good starting point.
