I'm running EP now...remember!! Have no interest in these messy noisy engines (not for the next few months anyway!)

The JP 5 port is around HK$21xx mark (ish!)

No seriously....you don't "really" need CVDs..... just run the car stock first and see....there are a lot of "nice to look at" options around which does very little to the performance.....ie. chassis, engine mount, alloy pullies, steel handles!! etc...

Actually for the RR, the first thing I would buy is a long steel handle....save you scratching the hell out of your cooling head on the engine!!

that is provided he goes Lola. If its sedan, the steel handle serves no useful purpose then. Hmmm....maybe as a secondary heatsink

the rr is worth the extra bucks.

you can still drive a one way on a small track, it might even make you a little quicker as it will force you to enter smooth. (ie taking better lines)

just set the castor way back so you can throw it into the corners just take every corner a little wider than normal.

i recon cvd's are worth the cash. they don't pop out like dogbones. so if you have a hard hit to the front tires you won't have to retire from the race from a poped out dogbone.

my track is big and has a lot of sharp corners so i'll think i'll stick to the v one r, plus it's like $100 less

I know it does, but it won't make such a big difference when I will have an rb x12 and the other guys run ntc3 and some mugen mtx2, if i'll need it i'll buy it, i need to get the hang of this car first i might get it as soon as 2 weeks. I might start racing in January, i got to practice first.

The centax will make a big difference! The options will add up if you upgrade from the R..... in the long run the RR is actually cheaper. Front one-way has no problems with tight turns, in fact if you run on a large track with sharp hairpins, then a front one-way with solid rear "axle" will be almost unbeatable! You would just scarifice a bit of tire wear!

Solid rear axles only have problem when it comes to a series of tight turns. Sometimes it is worth scarificing those turns for the rest of the track.

You can have a 'light' level of brake with a rear diff. With a solid axle you can actually use quite heavy braking. Anyway, what do you want to brake for??? never have much cause to use it with a front one-way...you get plenty of turn in!!
