Default What Fuel...?

Hi All,
Just wondering what is the most popular fuel used by you guys?
Please give your opinions and recommendations OR maybe even frustrations about this fuel that makes you...???
I run Tornado 16% on my RB X12 3port turbo, the crankshaft has brownish dots and patches when i removed the backplate...the LHS told me that was not rust...but some castor oil stains and etc...etc...whatever they called it...&*%[email protected]!...
what do you guys think that is? Are they telling the truth? Cos' i have been reading lots of bad things about this Tornado Fuel...
My motor have gone through 25-30 tanks of this fuel and i just cant get it idle for more than 15 sec....but the power wise is good.
Please give some ideas...
cheers....

Hi guys! Since we're talkin' about fuel, I use tornado 25% in my o.s. 12 tr and it runs fine, no problem with idle and power, but I also have those brown stains inside my engine.

VenomWorldOrder: You said that we ought to use after run. How do we use it mate? 5 drops through the glow plug hole or what? I'm sure a lot of people would want to know how to use after run oil properly to benefit our engines!

best way is to pour afterrun oil from carb air entry and put your car over the starter box and rev the engine a couple of seconds without the glow starter. I simply pour the oil from the combustion chamber. It doesnt how many drops but I do it as much as possible to give maximum protection to internal of the engine.

Engine mounts

After running in my OS TR, i thought i'd pull the engine off, and scope out the car in and around the rear to check everything is still tight etc.

I had to dremel the screws to get the motor off.

Have any of you guys replaced the stock engine mounts with the Kfactory or any other brand, so as to get the bigger screws like the Mugen ones, in stead of those crappy 3mm ones???

I am useing the Kawahara ones and they require the 3mm screws.

As for useing something like Mugen or Serpent the bottom of the chassis needs to be modified to accepet the bigger screw and washer

You also need a different chassis to be able to take 4mm mount screws ie. 3 Racing or 5 star.

i thought you were being sarcastic....

anyway just put it in via the glow P hole put the plug back in and spin it on the starter box. don't worry about putting too much the extra oil will go to the engine bearing and protect that. any excess usually comes out via the bearing.

i use a oil which is available in k mart called 3 in one.
