I was meaning the stinger folds back. I use the fantom muffler holder which is OK.

I think the KFactory mid bearing holder is better, it is the only actual KFactory part which is OK.

I have the K factory rear solid axle. It is the lightest solid axle available on the market.

what's wrong with the kfactory chassis? The only one I've seen that "looked" any better in quality was the sqaure.

Also, how much are you cutting off the stinger? Or better yet, about how much stinger do you leave measured from the base of the pipe?

I normally leave around 12-17mm but I cut at an angle (in line with the side of the car) so it's a little difficult to be exact! Just make sure wheels hit wall before stinger!!!!!

K Factory is OK...but their 4mm chassis is very heavy. Quality is middle of the road...local made chassis are about the same. Kawa chassis is very 'nicely' made!!!

Thanks for the info, my dremel has a date tonight with about 4 stingers that need neutering

K Factory 4mm chassis is noticeably heavier, no question. I've got the kawahara in my voner now though, I really can't see where it's made as well as the kfactory. But I guess as long as their light and strong we're splitting hairs anyway.

Hmmm, I do not use solid rear so I will have to trust you on this!! I find the the K Factory stuff is only average quality alloys, Kawahara is clearly better made. Also most K Factory parts are not required in that they are just alloy replacements for the original part. Kawahara mostly goes the further step.

Mayby it is because I do not like the Reflex

It's all to do with the finishing...the base metal is all the same 7075T6!!!!!

Be careful with the stinger...it does change the characteristics of the pipe 'slightly'....a little more low end.......but it is very slight!!!
