from my experience with one-way in voner if you brake hard and your chassis is not perfectly balanced you will slide to one side. If you do not dial your brakes down you will slide. With foam tires and a light rear diff instead of solid rear I don't see where you need to use the brakes with a one-way except when you come into the pits!

Fishcake: The class is alot of fun man.... What makes it even better is that the A final goes for 20 minutes and trying to get the Os Cv-x to last a whole 20 minutes is a real challenge specially with the air getting cooler as the night goes on. But the racing in this class is awsome..... thats why i converted my V-One R to a pullstart. I orginally ran a V-one S out there and my best result was a second in the A final (with just the single speed). I haven't ran the converted v-one r as yet but am having alot of success with it at other clubs. When i get some extra $$$ i am going to try and get some weight out of it cause it is like 1900grams at this stage....

hooked_on: Woah, that sounds cool!

Hey, by the way, I think there is only a mere difference in the speed when you apply brakes on cars equipped with the front one way, as the front ways will continue to roll while the wheels at the back are jammed up.

That's exactly the 2wd effect! The braking if this is very tricky!

With front one way.......

Put a solid axle in the back!!!!! you will find that the car tracks straight even with heavy braking and only slide when you are about to come to a stop!!

With rear diff, brakes can still be useful if your car pushes (or you are too heavy on the gas going into the bend)..... just reduce the brake a bit.....

.............this is with foam tires of course!!!!!!

Now replaced it with the stock old and trusty disc on it. The stock old has been with my MTX2 for one years and it is in great shape.

I will post the picture of the worn out kawahara disc later on.

I need to check if my friend put sand paper as drive belt or not !

V1RR Building Questions

Rear Gear Diff
1. the housing for the gears, part 27 i think. I got 2 included in the kit. Any reason, and did anyone else?

2. How much silicone oil (hard) do you recommend pouring in the rear gear diff housing? Fill her up, or just a few drops?

Rear Bulkhead Question
With the glueing of the brake pads, what product works best? They refer to rubber glue, and i have been told earlier that shoe goo works, but i just thought of asking you pros to make sure.

Many thanks in advance...

NB: got the OSTR(P)!!!
