I bet you can fit a big block in there as long as you're willing to take a dremel to the chassis and you don't use the al. brace w/ the belt tensionser.

I have an extra chassis so I may try it. The reason I want to put a big block in isn't for speed - it's for gas mileage. We have a nitro endurance race coming up and I figure I can keep up with everyone running a big block lean and still only use 1/2 throttle - I should be able to get much more time per tank than others running small blocks. We shall see. I was going to sell the voner but for some reason the market has fallen out and no one wants to pay fair price for anything other than Nitro tc3's and HPI's!

Hahaha! Oh well, Guess I'll have to use a a thinner silicon oil for my rear differential man! I am using rubber tires, is there any problem? Hey, what about the shock springs? Did you change them?

No no problem

yup I changed shock springs GOLD baby Gold

I am running FOAMS and a lola body so my set up probably is not right for you,
Might I suggest a softer shock and spring setting and leave the rear diff to stock setting.....also try about 3 deg rear toe in you might be surprised
