most likly they lean the M speed too much
the of the MS owners tend to perfer speed over control.
maybe that is why the MS break down..
PA track can only allow you to lean so much
any leaner , you actually giving it more than it fair share of stress...
so it not the fault of the engine.. just that sometime we overlook the part that the engine can only take so much stress...

Yeah... but what surprises me is that Sam's 3port is almost on par with his MS on the straights!

you know a properly setup standard engine could be faster then a mod engine under a newbie's hand!

dont think he really lean the engine to the max. after all, he has years of racing experience under his belt...leaning a top notch engine to the max is an amateur mistake.

Sam is good at tuning his engine..
and he know how to gear his impluse there.
dont forget that gearing is very important here.
If you have the Best engine but you undergear it
what the point .. You never get the power out of the engine..
Over gear it, you stress your engine, and u end up with a engine that is peaking way too fast..
2 speed engagement point also play a part there

At a track like PA,
the worse mistake that a person can make is to lean it
WHY???
cause you will be holding on the throttle for at least 4 to 5 sec from the sweeper to the straight..
If you lean it too much.. what is going to happen???
You tell me..
some time back i was playin at PA with my V1R with MT12 and stock gearing..
come one guy with a same car but with 18/22 and Mspeed MT12 turbo engine...
he never manage to lap me but instead i lap him..
yes true that he catch up with me on the striaght and every time when there is a chance for him to throttle..
but he ended up with 5 plug gone in just one day of playing...
