Hey I want to be certified too! I have owned an Impulse and an MTX-2. Now all I have is V-One R's in TC! Besides I need permission to be in "Team Hardkore" Northern California division! I think my V-ONE R's are hardcore enough! At the last race I didn't even break a part on the track! I only broke a part on the bench when I overtightened my wheel nut and broke the axle on my car (original axle from when I bought the car). In fact I rarely break parts. That just goes to attest to the strength of the V-ONE R.

All in all the car is sturdy as hell. Most of the time I don't finish races due to tire and wheel problems (ie wheel rim breaking, wheel nut coming loose and wheel flying off) and not from major parts breakage!

You are aware that the OB4 is not even in the same ballpark in terms of quality to the V1RR? They are a nice car and spare parts are cheap tho.

I was at the track today and I noticed that the car seems to push a little in the infield I did tweak the front sway bar seemed to help but still some push in a tight section,

suggestions would be appreciated

Here is my set up which works great at a medium track with tight infield

Front
Gold spring, 70wt
8' caster; 1.5 toe out; 2' camber
softest sway bar position
42 shore tire

Rear
Gold spring, 55wt
2' toe in, 3' camber
black sway bar

I am using front one way with rear solid axle.

setup also works great on rear diff but you need higher diff oil such as 10000 or above.

I am after some track info. Often we talk about small, medium and large tracks I am after what length straight the track has and what engine pipe combo is being used on that track.

My track has a 130' long straight and the CX12 and MT12 engines seem to be the best with a shorter torque pipe. Using standard gearing on the V1R the CX12 winds out nice and the MT12 has some legs left. The RS12 is over geared even at 16/20 for this track.

Anyone else got some similar info??

I run on a simular track, I am using cvr with a x12 pipe, works well for me.........I personally should have gotten the mt12 I could have used the extra legs
Is your track permanent ? do they change the configuration every other week, like they do mine keeps us honest
