The Rex pipe comes with the pro spec. The Rex pipe is a good pipe and i think it's the same as the 51602. Rex, novarossi, and the rb pipes are all the same.. They all made by novarossi.

To Sydewynder:

Thanks for the great tips on the kawahara 2 speed. 3 1/2 turns out on the clutch is dead on. I just rebuilt my car with all possible kawahara hop ups. I had the itch, and went all the way.

To ah10:

Thanks for the great tips on the negative diff. I have a question about the diff though. How do u know if the clutch in the unit is engaging?? What type of characteristic should the car exihbit. I just ran it for a minute. There's no track time in my immediate future since weather sucks here aside from a couple of 60 degree days recently.

You are very welcome! now if you set up your neg diff correctly then the diff action should be really really smooth and loose kind of like putting 5k weight or less in there, usually with such light weight oil in rear diff and then when you punch the car out of corner it will probably spun around due to excessive power to only one side on the rear tire. Now if you punch your car out of corner and it shoot straight then that means the clutch engage becomes solid axle. Also on the straight away it is much more stable.

Default MUgen Spring Rates

HAs anyone gone through and figured out what the Mugen Spring rates are??

I have Associated Yellows (30#) and they are supposed to be similar to the kit silvers.

If anyone knows the equivelant rates (in pounds) please post.

Thanks

Rich

due to the shock length, u should use short spring in front and long spring in rear. i run mtx2 with foam, i use short spring all around.

i dont really know, i am not a fast guy tho.
i use front one-way + rear diff (5,000wt)
shock oil 600wt plus blue spring (short) all around.
rear 2 degree toe-in, front 1 degree toe-out.

this is setting for foam tires.
