It used to be here.

However, the site is now underconstruction. Just hope for the best.

Default Mod. x-2

Parts I built or modified: Frame, rear lower arms, upperarms, uprights, rear diff.,radio tray, moved the batt.pac.to the front bumper, lowerd steering servo, hidden pulley for long belt, front shock tower (no slop in upper a arms), vacuum formed covers under rad. tray to keep it clean and also formed a heat shield for exhaust pipe, crome brace for left side support, crome nerf bars for one of the tracks I go to! Polished shocks and clip on polished aluminum parts for show that clip off when racing. second cheeter fuel tank can be installed in 5 minuets and compleatley consealed (sometimes needed cause It has a very modified Novarossi but since they are getting all pissy I won't go into detail bout the moter mods! The frame has much smaller cooling holes that give it strength and keeps the little rocks from getting into the belts. Cool air is diverted to the engine from side molds inside the body also providing more down force! and its leagle ....not!

Does anyone even run the mtx-2 anymore, or is the mtx-3 really that much better?

I still have my MTX-2 as a "backup" car, but to be honest, I haven't had to pull it out all summer. My MTX-3 is more durable and soooooooooooooo much easier to setup and drive.

I'm in the process of redoing my website to promote myself more as a driver, sorry for the inconvience.

If you need the manual, send me your e-mail and I will give you the link to where you can still download it.

My e-mail is [email protected]

I still use mine. It is a fast car, and if you can drive fast, you will be fast with this car. Most will say that you will be faster with an MTX3, but since I don't have my own I can't really say. But I've liked the MTX3's I've driven even though the setups weren't perfect for my driving style/preference.

Course, I only drive my MTX2 because I can't afford an MTX3 quite yet, but even if I had an MTX3, I'd still run my 2 because there are two classes of nitro touring that are run at my track (foam tire/any .12 and rubber tire/Roar .12 engine). I presently run in both classes with my 2 (just change the tires), but if I had an MTX3, I'd race the 3 in one class and the 2 in the other.

Default What brakes!

Tip for MTX2 Take the brake disc out and use it for a slug at the car wash OK jus kidding but If you are relying on your breaks that much it might be wise to change your driving habits "Don't" go into the turns so fast!!! And I've said it a 100 times to improve your track times unhook the brakes while you are practising! Do this for 3 weeks not only will you turn faster times but you will also be able to controll your car better (much better) and when you hook your breaks back up adjust them so they won't lock ! You may think this is a dumb thing to do but 8 years ago I remember this moron that bet 50 bucks that doing this would not make him faster and to make a long story short............ I lost that bet!!! But it was the best 50 bones I spent that summer................
