Anybody got the news from any reliable source, maybe from Mugen themselves. So far, it has just been hear say and no one can really confirm.
I have a MTX2 and looking for another car, I'm thinking of the GTR R spec but will like to find out more of the MTX3 before making a decision.

and Ideas mayme I over looked sumthin

Your adjustment nut probably screwed too far in, meaning the spring is compressed too much so it revs up pretty high and when it engages it just shoot out like a rocket!

This is just a reference to go with but it might not be accurate because of the gap between the flywheel and the engine block varies..... anyway, first try to line up the adjustment nut flush with the flywheel locking nut then work your way in until you find the perfect engaging point.

Hope that help!

That is vary from engine to engine and as well as collet thickness and if you put the washer between collet and main bearing! so the spec that you provide might no work with different ppl!

The nut do sit the same place but the flywheel locking nut doesnt and that will affect the travel point, I am referring to the the end of the flywheel locking nut to the tip of the crank shaft!

still will not make any differance as you measure the end of the flywheel nut to end of crank, then the adjusting nut to the end of crank, you then need a diferance of .8mm
honest i am correct trust me

Anyone going for the Chicago show? Please try to get info of the MTX 3 for posting! I'm sure many Mtx owners would be interested.

Thanks!

Oh I see what you mean now! you measure it 0.08mm from the tip of the flywheel nut to the adjusting nut, I thought you measure it from the tip of the crank to the adjusting nut, because mine is at 8.62mm from the tip of the crank!
