Hey tekrsq, what pullies do you use and where do you get them from. Do you use standard belts???

I'm running the Kawahara one-way with a stock sized pulley, I think it's 39t. Kawahara has an "overdrive" pulley available (I think 36t), but I haven't tried it because it's not worth it to me having to pull the entire front end apart to change back and forth depending on track conditions. The rest of my pullies are Kose aluminum and I have stock belts.

1, it comes with low cg mount and thrust bearing, just one item number. SpeedtechRc has it in stock! click Here, just scroll down to the bottom.

2, Thrust bearing..... hum....here you will find all the information you need on thrust bearing.

3, if it grabs hard then that means the clutch is not slipping, slipping = less speed because the engine gives 100% but only may be 70% of the power transfer to the transmission!

4, you can get the kawahara centex clutch from SpeedtechRC, I just link you from point 1.
Thanks Ah10, I think I'll give it a try.

news for mugen owners. The HPI nitro shaft drive car uses a 22 and 18 screw alumunium pinions and they will screw right on the stock mugen clutch bell if you are still using it. This should give you a few more tuning options for long tracks.

I have to do a lil self promoting here, so bare with me.

I started a new site with a new domain name called MRX3.com. I am in need of a logo so I started a contest and I will be giving away a Mugen Seiki Chair to the winner. What self respecting Mugen owner wouldn't want one?

Check the MRX3.com site for details of course.
