Default Engines

Are you all still using the Mt12 engines? At my race track, I think I am one of the few ones using the MT12, and i think I am getting sloooooow. Who knows, I [probably] have to think in a better engine for the very near future. Comments, opinions, suggestions, brands, websites, prices, pictures, anything/everything ( ) are welcome.

It is in Southern California. If fact the permenant track is at the very end side of the parking lot at the back of Crystal Park Casino. The track size is 200' x 150'.

Here is the Link

Default Good setup for a parking lot?

Hi guys,

I run an MTX-2 with front one way and solid rear diff. Does anyone have a really good setup for the car for a parking lot? We normally bring a blower in before we race, but it still is a little dusty. Any help would be appreciated. I have a setup now, but the rear seems to be a little loose. I have 1.5 degrees negative toe in the rear, and by the looks of things on this board, it looks like everyone seems to be running 2 degrees+. Any feedback or setups would be greatly appreciated!

what type of tire you run on? rubber or foam? it makes a big difference in setup.

I usually run foams. Either Yokomo or Zac's. 26mm front 32mm rear.

try rear camber link:
shock tower/inner, lower
hub/inner, upper

camber might need up to 3' and rear toe in start at 2' and increase to 2.5' if needed.

Thanks Man!

I will give it a try. What color springs would you suggest. I run purple longs in the front and blues in the rear.

Should it be the other way around? harder upfront and softer at the rear?
