Default front diff

warlord385: You have to build it from parts. Look at your instruction manual, not the ProSpec addenum. Page 3 has the listing. You will need the gears (washers and o-rings cone with this), outdrive shafts T0202, gasket, (4) 2.6x16 screws, a pin set and diff grease of your choice. Bearings and housings are already in the kit.

I was watching a car with a solid front axle this pass week end. It was super quick in and out of the turns. No problems with any push. I need to try it on my car. I will let you know what happens. I'm off to find a machinist.

I have a Hashimoto solid front. I don't know where you can get it here as I got it overseas a long time ago.
What was this car using in the rear?
I asked before but got no answer so.......What will happen if you run a solid front and rear?

Sydewynder,
The car had a regular gear diff in the rear.
I think you lose some steering up front with the solid front axle.
Same with a solid rear, you lose some rear traction.
I don't know what there are like together. I want to try the solid up front and gear diff in the rear.
Are you using the solid axle up front?

Unless Eric sold RC Imports... Castle & RCImports are the same company... just doing buisness under different names...

(not trying to start a flame war, just point out some facts)

Technically, RC Imports and Castle are not the same company. The guy that owns Castle also owns part of RC Imports. RC Imports is a distributor and Castle buys from RC Imports.
