Glad it worked for you. The shifting is great, much better than the finger type. The instructions came from Ah10.

No just those dam curbs they use here as end markers at the end of the straight.

Default RC Nitro article

Has anyone else read the article on the MTX-2 super shop? June 02 is the issue. They do a Mugen & Penguin kit and a Kawahara kit. The Kawahara has the prototype 1/8 rear on it!

The bulk of the article is on the web RC Nitro MTX-2 Super shop

How do you do a compression test on the engine. I've noticed that it's a lot easier to turn over now then when it was new. It's been tuned a lot, and now runs at 235-245F. It's nice and quick now (Thanks AH10)... but i'm noticing that other people are still passing on the straights. Guess i should upgrade when i finally learn to drive.

You can test your engines compression by buying the dynamite compression test. But one prob it's so freaking expensive!!! You can test your engines compression manually by turning the flywheel counter clockwise.... when your flywheel turns 360 deg that means your engine is loose comp....... buy new piston sleeve and piston

Pepe I haven't been to Doug's in awhile. Plan being there a few times this year. I race everywhere in the DC, MD, VA, PA area. My main stops would be Hobbytown in Frederick, Hobby Works in Laurel and Brown Brothers in Dumfries, VA.

I had the Mugen last year but didn't race it much. I was more into the electric. I'll be racing more gas this year though.

whats a good gear ratio for a RB X12(3 ports) powered MTX on a large 1/8 track? presently, im using the stock setup 16/20 and 43/47. This setup lacks a lot of top speed in my opinion.

Try 18/22 with 42/49.

Default Floating Rear Body mounts

Does anybody make a Rear floating body mounts for any 1/10 scale touring car that would fit my MTX-2 Pro Spec?

u ran that combo on a 1/8 track? the sum of the number of tooth need not be equal for both sets of gears? 18+49 is not equal to 22 +42 in this case.
