answering on behalf of NR, the negative diff will fit the MTX, provided u bought the one for MTX. they have one for V1R too

So it would probrably be worthwhile getting an extra set of shoes so you could modify one set.

Any ideas on how you would add weight to them?

when you have a spare set of clutch shoes you will have either lighter or heavier set of shoes. You can do it in this way. Drill hole(s) at the end of the shoes. This will reduce its weight. And if you want to add weight, put short set screws to fill the holes and this will give you extra weight then the original clutch shoes.

So far I find the standard clutch shoes works reall well and you dont really do this stupid trick.
