www.racedayhobbies.com
www.rcmart.com
www.rc-mushroom.com

Those would be a good start for most of those cars and the places in Hong Kong have reasonable express shipping rates as well.

My fellow racers.

It appears that the cars are priced this way:

from highest to lowest:

- Team Xray NT1 - 468$
- Kyosho V-One RRR Evo WCE - $440
- Mugen Seiki MTX-4R - 409$
- Serpent 720 - 399$
- Team Magic G4S - 389$

Does this indicate the "worthiness" of the vehicle?

They are all very competitive cars and are all basically on the same level. The Xray may be a little better but that remains to be seen yet by me as there arent many guys in my area running it yet. I would not be afraid of any one of those cars. They are all front runners worldwide!!!

Price means nothing.

I think you might need to do some more shopping around. I've seen lower prices at other online stores, eBay and in RCTech.net's "For Sale" thread.

Oh for sure, I found my G4S NIB on this site for $275 including shipping. They can definitely be found cheaper if you look around.

Before that I had a G4 that I paid $200 for originally and I since purchased 5 of them for around $100-135 all brand new on ebay. Thank god 90% of the parts will work on the G4S.

Yeap...I second that.

But following up with the car prices...like someone else said...means nothing.

Personally I think Mugen and Team Magic can take a little bit more abuse from a bad driver that would kiss the boards once in a while, than a Serpent (fragile) dont know about Kyosho.

One of the reason that I change from Serpent to Mugen was because of parts, almost 80% of the people that race at my local track runs Mugen, the store is close on Sunday which is the race day, and if something come up, I can always ask someone at the track for a part and finish the day...
Performance wise, the cars for me are the same, is just depends on the setup that you got on it. and that's when it helps the tips from other racers.

I'd say that price is substantially lower than dealer cost. Sounds too good to be true.

edit: But, if you have a hook up lmk, I'll buy a few of them to resale locally
