Wow, September!?!?! As usual, Associated working from behind the eightball. With the Xray, Mugen, Serpent, Kyosho, and Team Magic, Associated might as well just stick with their current product line-up, concentrate on improvements to those products, and stay out of the onroad touring car market.

- Guy now has no patience/time to perform the setup/maintenance work required by a race car and so when he tries to run the car it wont go in a straight line.
- Guy quits RC.

Some people are actually better off with a car that doesnt require much setup/maintenance.
Im one of those guys that got a ntc3(traded a stereo for it)-also have a tc4,and both nitro and electric rustlers-total cash outlay-$0 Our local shop has an off road track, a dirt oval and an on road track. The owner keeps the tracks open for practice 7 days a week, and the local racers have helped me set up my cars to the point where if I am not a leader, at least im not embarrasing myself. at this point a faster car would be futile-the driver is the weak link-but I think that without the great support in our area (Tampa,Fl)-I would have 4 closet queens, instead im getting really nutz about this sport-not bad for an ex-professional nitro Harley dragracer!- Next step is Kyosho inferno(we have a spec class for these) great fun

Seems like associated has been anti nitro onroad since the 80's. They had a good onroad car back then the RC500 that they just stopped updating supporting so it would remain compeitive and let it go obsolete, then they did pretty much the same thing with the Nitro TC-3 You have to update nitro cars yearly to remain compeitive.
